Pre-catalysed coatings
Pre-catalysed (PC) is a single-pack interior wood system: white and clear primers, sanding sealer, clear topcoat and Promatch colours. No catalyst. Use it on new jobs so the next tin is already in Tullamore.
For new jobs, specify this range
We strongly advise that any new job is started on the current pre-catalysed (PC) products. That way, if more material is needed, it is on the shelf in Tullamore.
Typical gravity thinning is 20% ND4100 on sanding sealer, 30% on white and clear primer, 20–30% on clear topcoat, and 40–50% on colours. Pump settings are lower.
How much to thin PC coatings
Novalk pre-catalysed systems need no catalyst. Reduce with Lacquerite ND4100. ND4800 is the anti-bloom option. Never use recycled or untested thinners.

For anti-blooming on topcoats and colours, half ND4100 and half ND4800. Add thinners only when the product is going to be used. Print the 2026 mix ratio sheets from the trade sign-in.
